Well, life after high school and out of Madison is a very interesting experience. I attended school in Whitewater WI for a year and then decided to take some time off. I have spent the last couple years working and plan to return to school in the fall.

My work with safe schools and GSA was an experience I couldn't forget even if I wanted to. I still meet youth in smaller Wisconsin areas that don't have the freedoms we have here in Madison. I'm currently working with youth at East Troy High School trying to get a GSA started there.

During the last couple weeks, I've realized how good we had it in Madison with GSAs in every school and various support groups outside of school. The work we do and have done will be something I'll carry with me wherever I go.
