I’m currently studying Political Science and French at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. After college, I hope to attend law school and pursue a career in public interest law. Support from GSA for Safe Schools has helped give me the confidence to continue to speak out and seek out opportunities to create and strengthen community. In the run-up to the fall 2006 election, I spent a great deal of time working for Fair Wisconsin, living in Eau Claire for Get Out The Vote weekend. I’ve recently begun writing for Lavender [www.lavendermagazine.com] and Rainbow Rumpus [www.rainbowrumpus.org], two major Minneapolis-based LGBT community publications.
