I am just finishing my first year at the University of WI in Madison. Because my major is statistics, I have been taking a lot of math classes and loving every minute of it! I'm also on the UW Lightweight Rowing team, which has helped me to meet a lot of neat people and visit some cool places. We've been training and racing in Florida, Tennessee, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. Our team is ranked #1 in the nation right now, and I'm really psyched to be a part of it!

My involvement with GSAFE in the LGBT movement shaped so much of my life as it is today. I have cultivated irreplaceable relationships with the people I met at numerous GSAFE events. I gained countless new leadership skills including public speaking and organizational skills by planning and attending GSA conferences and leadership institutes. My work in the LGBT movement fills an empty void in my heart created by homophobia and the ban on same-sex marriage. I am excited for the fight to continue!
