2002 Scholarship Recipient
After graduating from King I went to study at Boston University. In four years I earned a Degree in Marine Biology. I graduated Summa cum Laude and was excited to go to graduate school. I loved being in Boston and I think that going to high school in such a diverse place as King and Milwaukee really helped me fit in.

While in Boston, I was proud to be in a state that allowed gay marriage. I was part of the Arlington Street Unitarian Universalist Church and participated in much of the campaign. I also was able to witness one of the first marriages in the state.

I am now back in Wisconsin going to graduate school and getting my Ph D in Molecular Neuroscience.
