In the past two years I have been working full time - as well as hanging out at Madison's very own Edgewood College where I am studying Human Services (Social Work) as a full time student. I am loving every (exhausting) minute of it! Edgewood is a very welcoming school for people of all backgrounds and it is something that I believe every student and instructor takes pride in. What I have learned during my involvement with GSA for Safe Schools and the LGBT movement has made a world of difference in college life. It is amazing to see information that I have learned in workshops when I was a sophomore in high school, being brought into every day lectures. Instructors find it necessary to include LGBT issues in their classroom and that is an amazing thing to see. The wisdom and truth that I have gained through the LGBT movement will always be with me and I feel honored to be part of it.
